We’re back ladies and gentlemen, 20 drivers, 10 teams and 10 new liveries. In this week’s edition of Motorsport Unlimited we will be looking at my top five liveries from the launch event, my thoughts on F175 live and upcoming races. 

The F175 launch event took place on Tuesday 18th February 2025 at the O2 in London. The event was hosted by comedian Jack Whitehall, and personally that was the best part of the event (maybe Take That performing too). 

The event to me just seemed kind of pointless, at first I thought it would be the launch of the 2025 cars, but it was in fact just the liveries the teams would be using for the 2025 season on their 2024 cars.

Jack kept the whole evening afloat with his funny jokes, taking jabs at the Max & George beef, asking Gordon Ramsay about the swearing ban, the Charles comment I won’t repeat, and the Netflix comments to Lando Norris, but that is honestly about the only good part of the night. 

Now, onto my top 5 liveries of the night. 

First up I would have to go for Stake F1 Team Kick Sauber as my favourite livery.

This is probably the most unique design heading into the 2025 season, I love the ombré design and the fact that it will stand out from other cars on the track. 

My second Favourite livery of the 2025 season, will have to be Alpines.

I was expecting more pink from the team this year, but they’ve definitely tried and done a good job at changing up the cars from previous seasons. 

For my next top livery I would have to choose Ferrari.

The Ferrari team have some exciting changes coming into effect this year as Lewis joins them, but along with that they have gone for a gorgeous livery that will definitely stand out on track. 

Fourth on my list, VCARB (Visa Cash App Racing Bulls)

The car has definitely changed from last year, and with Yuki and Isack as the 2025 lineup the car looks like it could hit new results. 

Finally, my fifth favourite livery of the 2025 season, McLaren.

Although they haven’t changed anything, using the same livery they won the constructors with in 2024 is kind of symbolic, why change something that wasn’t broken?
