I'm back. Bigger and better than ever. I have championships, births, exits and deaths to discuss. Let's look at the past week in Formula 1, both on and off the track. None of the "wheel-to-wheel" at each corner play-by-play of the latest race; I mean the proper stuff we all want to know about.

Kimi Antonelli, what a man

Formula 1's youngest world champion, aged just 20. Kimi Antonelli has won the 2026 World Championship. Man, I can't even drive a car at his age, and he's winning championships- wildness.

The Italian driver, driving for Mercedes-AMG, is only in his second season in the Formula 1 world; however, he's rewriting the record books as Formula 1's 36th World Champion. The driver claimed his maiden win at the Chinese Grand Prix this year, at the age of just 19; since then, we have seen the driver go from strength to strength and come out on top as Mercedes' number one driver, above teammate George Russel.

The young Italian, the first Italian driver to win the Championship since 1953, has been with Mercedes since the age of just 12, and since his debut in 2025, he has had his dad by his side at almost every single race.

Have you followed Kimi's journey? If so, what was your most memorable moment?

Esteban Ocon lands himself in hot waters

We all know Esteban; he was probably one of the least problematic drivers on the grid, until now. The French driver was driving alongside teammate Ollie Bearman at Haas. He was expected to be leaving the team at the end of the 2026 season, but after a falling out at the Mexican Grand Prix, that was brought on sooner as the team dropped him with immediate effect.

Although the outcome has not been finalised on why the driver has left the team, he faced an argument with team principal Ayao Komatsu after Friday's practice; it was then announced Saturday morning that he would not be racing that weekend. Nothing more was said on the matter until Tuesday evening, when it was announced he would no longer be driving for the team. Nothing else has been said on the matter; however, lawyers are involved, and rumours say there was violence and aggression involved, so keep your eyes peeled for more information.

Could this finally be the end of Estie's Career? Let me know your thoughts on this below; I certainly think that if violence has come into play, we will no longer see Esteban racing in this series.

death of 1980 world champion

Whilst we celebrate the win of the 2026 championship, the announcement comes that Alan Jones, aged 80, has passed away. Alan was the last Australian man to win the world championship, but not only that, the first to win it for Formula 1 team Williams back in 1980.

Alan raced in the sport between 1975 and 1986, winning the championship in 1980 for Williams, their first team win of seven. Jones, whose wife announced his death on November 5th, turned 80 on November 2nd, just days before his death. The racer won 12 Grand Prix's during his career and went on to race competitively in other series after his exit from Formula 1 in 1986 until retiring in 2002.

In a statement released on behalf of Amanda Butler-Davis, Alan's wife, by Motorsport Australia, she announced: "We are extremely saddened to announce the passing of our beloved Alan, who passed away on November 5th following a short illness".

Alan's illness is unknown; however, our thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends at this time, and of course his fans who grew up watching Alan on their screens.

Bianca Leclerc enters the world

After months of speculation on Alex's pregnancy, they never officially announced their pregnancy to the world, keeping it a private and intimate thing between the pair. In the last few weeks as Alexander reached the end of her pregnancy, we saw sneak peeks into their life as they prepared to become parents, including test-driving the new stroller and Charles announcing that he does not plan to miss a race amid the birth of his firstborn child. There was even a sweet moment between Charles and Lewis where they shared how it felt to be a family, with Lewis being involved with his partner, Kim Kardashian's children.

Following an eventful weekend at the Mexico City Grand Prix, Charles did not get a moment to breathe before the start of a new chapter, parenthood, with wife Alexander. The pair were married earlier this year, with speculations of Alex's pregnancy circulating since June this year.

Sharing the news on social media, the pair announced the birth with the caption "Bianca 3.11.2026". Many fans have questioned if the choice of name is in relation to Charles' godfather, Jules Bianchi, who passed away in 2015 after sustaining major injuries after a crash at the Japanese Grand Prix in  2024,  but this has not yet been confirmed.  Drivers and their partners have rushed to congratulate the pair on the birth of Bianca.

I wish all the best to parents Charles and Alexander as they navigate this new life of parenthood.
