Remedy Entertainment, the studio behind the Award-Winning game CONTROL, has now officially announced the release of its long-awaited sequel. The new instalment sees players take on a reality-warped Manhattan, threatened by mysterious forces looking to completely unravel the world as players know it.

In CONTROL Resonant, players take control of Dylan Faden, who must now contend with a para-natural crisis running rampant in Manhattan. This new title sees the continued expansion of the unsettling atmosphere and supernatural themes which were so vital to the studio's previous title. CONTROL

Resonant has dangerous enemies, powerful abilities and incredibly challenging boss encounters. One of the most important additions to the sequel is the Aberrant, a shapeshifting melee weapon which can be wielded by players to take down enemies, and with Faden's supernatural skills, the weapon brings a whole new approach to the game's action-focused gameplay.

The game was launched globally on the 24th of September 2026, and is available on PC on Steam and the Epic Games Store, as well as PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S. The release marks yet another impressive entry in Remedy Entertainment's library of narrative-driven games.

With its combination of supernatural combat, unconventional map settings, and continued connections to the previous CONTROL game, the sequel promises returning fans new adventures while giving newcomers an opportunity to enjoy the series.
