STAFF UPDATES
Here's what's changed in UpBeats staff team in the past two weeks!
STATION
We have Max who has joined the team here at UpBeat. We cannot wait to see what amazing shows they will be playing on air!
Last week we said goodbye to Vanta, who has left the team to go onto better things, we hope to see them back soon!
COMMUNITY
We are glad to say that Millie has passed their Community Moderator trial - well done Millie!
Last week, Asher and Dyllan passed their Community Moderator trials - well done guys!
STAFF HIGHLIGHTS
Each week, our Management team discuss who should feature as our Staff of the Week. It can be for many reasons like going above and beyond, extra motivation and so on, but they have stood out amongst the entire team, so we want to give them the recognition they deserve.
Without further ado, this weeks Staff Member of the week is...

★ Bailey had the following to say about ★ Brett:
Well well well, a massive well done to you Brett, the effort you put into your role not only as a station mentor but as a member of the community is amazing. Your commitment to completing your tasks to a very high level week on week is fantastic, as well as this we can always expect to hear such a wide range of music from your shows, no two shows are ever the same and you really do bring a breath of fresh air to the station. Once again, well done on achieving SOTW Brett, you definitely deserve it!

Hi Brett, as much as you’re a pain in the backside you definitely deserve this. Your non stop hard work and commitment to the role is outstanding. You went from someone who knew nothing about presenting to one of our most active and dedicated members of the assistive department. Yeah you’ve got some strange friends (jack moment) but you really do hustle and properly care about your team. You always go out of the way to help others and make sure they are understanding of what is expected of them. Onto your music taste, you consistently play absolute bangers on air really bringing the indie scene to UpBeat, we see so many varied artists from you no show is the same. You really do deserve Staff Of The Week, keep up the amazing work broski!

STATION HIGHLIGHT
We've had another great few weeks in radio! Our presenters have been hard at work keeping the banging tunes!
We asked Station Management about the week, and here's what ★ Bailey had to say:
Top Recurring Show: Eurovision's Hits Favourite Song: Fifth Harmony - Worth It (feat. Kid Ink) from Hoppers Friday 10pm Show Timetable: Unfortunately we've had a quieter week due to some of our most active presenters being away but the evenings have still been jam packed with fantastic radio entertainment from a variety of presenters. The past few weeks have been quieter than usual, this is due to some of our presenters being away on holiday etc and we expect the station to become busier in the coming weeks with some new recurring shows joining the timetable.

CONTENT HIGHLIGHT
We've had lots of great content come out these past few weeks!
We asked Content Manager about the week, and here's what ★Cal had to say:
Over the last couple of weeks in Content, we have had a few staffing changes, from Management to our Reporters. We are super glad with everyone who has joined our team, and potentially who might be joining in the future... Management have been working hard on making improvements within the department - with help from our Content Mentors, and fellow management members.
The articles posted this week have been great, my favourite one has to be Transport Times, by Finney which has been an amazing read, and taking a deep dive in all of the new transport and what has been going on! We may have a limited amount of articles on our site at the moment, but we are working hard behind the scenes to get more content for YOU! Make sure to apply on our website to write content that YOU like, and to share with the community.
COMMUNITY HIGHLIGHTS

Throughout this week, people have been having a lot of fun discussions! People have been having fun discussing posts on our Twitter, as well as having conversations about exciting topics, especially in our new topic channels, which are top-picks, music, and marketplace-finds!!!!! One of our Station Presenter, Dresten, said these are his favourite things about UpBeat...
"I like the community, everyone is great, and the odd events that are held also great!!"Looking more into the Community department, we have got a few words from our Moderators!! Dyllan explained why he chose to join our Staff team, more specifically the Community department..."I decided to join the staff team because I wanted to try something new in my spare time and I liked how it was a community feel and it was a kind environment. I feel welcome here."JackN, another one of our Moderators, has also said a few things about the department..."I like how we do our minimums! I like the effort the team puts into looking out for others keeping them safe in the server and on our website. We work behind the scenes most of the time!"
