The second round of voting for UpBeat Awards is now open!
The first round was released exclusively to staff, but now we need you, members of the community, to vote on who deserves what award depending on the specific categories. The winners will be announced during our 10th Birthday Shows on Saturday 23rd May at 8PM & 9PM BST! Make sure to vote here.

STAFF UPDATES
Here's what's changed in UpBeat's staff team in the past two weeks!
STATION
In station, we welcome ★ LeahJ to the team as a presenter. There are no other changes in the station department this week.
CONTENT
There is no one joining the department immediately as of now! Remember that content minimums are now one article a week, so if this is something you can achieve, make sure to apply.
COMMUNITY
Please welcome ★ LeahJ and ★ Benji to the Community Department. We are unfortunately saying goodbye to Dresten. We wish him the best of luck as a reporter.
Assistive +
We congratulate ★ Callum on passing his Station Mentor trial! In addition to this, please congratulate ★ LeahJ on passing her Content Mentor trial.
STAFF HIGHLIGHTS
Each week, our Management team discuss who should feature as our Staff of the Week. It can be for many reasons like going above and beyond, extra motivation and so on, but they have stood out amongst the entire team, so we want to give them the recognition they deserve. Our previous Staff of the Week was Bailey!

STATION HIGHLIGHT
We've had another great couple of weeks in radio! Our presenters have been hard at work keeping the banging tunes!
We asked Station Management about the week, and here's what ★ Joshua had to say:
"Another fantastic week here at UpBeat Radio with an impressive 73 hours booked across the timetable, showing brilliant commitment from the whole station team right across the week. The INTL and weekend schedules were especially strong this week, with plenty of slots booked keeping the station active well into the early hours. A huge shoutout goes to Randomizer for launching the brand new Eurovision Hits show on Wednesday at 12AM, bringing a fresh Eurovision-themed addition to the schedule. Thank you to every presenter, mentor and member of management who helped make another busy and successful week on UpBeat Radio!"

I guess RAYE has to go on the banned list now, as she is still at the top. It will be interesting to see if she is still at the top in our next edition!

Station Presenter A Station Presenter is the core role of UpBeat. Station Presenters are responsible for keeping listeners entertained throughout the day by hosting a range of competitions, taking requests and shoutouts and playing the freshest hits. If you love music, this is the role for you! |
Content Reporter A Content Reporter is responsible for actively posting articles to the UpBeat site. Articles are to contain a variety of topics such as UpBeat news, affiliate news, music related gossip etc. You are to keep the community and visitors of the site updated with the latest news. If you have a passion for writing, Content Reporter is the role for you! |

Developer At UpBeat, a Developer is someone who helps create and expand UpBeat into a greater picture than it already is by implementing features that increase the use of UpBeat and its audience. The responsibilities of this position will also involve satisfying and understanding the demands of UpBeat's audience, expanding existing features and creating new features. |
Creative Designer At UpBeat, Creative Designers are critical role of staff who are expected to help grow, promote, and evolve UpBeat. Individuals in this position must be extremely trustworthy and have extensive prior experience. |

WELLNESS AT UPBEAT
At UpBeat, the well-being of everyone in the community is extremely important and at the heart of everything. This is all carried out by our skilled Human Resources team, led by Ari. We have a dedicated #well-being channel for this, and every week, a new activity takes place in the server with the emphasis on spreading positivity and making someone smile.
