British actor Tim Curry, known for bringing some of the most recognisable characters to life, has sadly passed at 80 years old. Tim passed away at his home in Los Angeles on 25th August 2026.

Tim made a name for himself on stage before becoming an international star. He performed as Dr Frank-N-Furter in The Rocky Horror Show with the character appearing in the film version in 1975. Tim then went on and played a large variety of different roles, from the terrifying Pennywise in IT to the classic Home Alone 2: Lost in New York, making a global name for himself.
