At the ripe old age of 49, I was blessed as a Dj to grow up in the golden era of music. The late 90s and early 2000s. I was an electronic music Dj that looked up to artists such as the KLF, Dj Icey, Huda Hudia, Stanton Warriors, Plump Djs, Krafty Kuts, Baby Anne and the woman that I still crush on... Dj Rap. It was a time when Vinyl was flowing like a waterfall off of the shelves. When Wednesdays at Vinyl Fever (our local record store) had their new releases and every Dj in town was jockeying to see who could get their hands on it first. I had friends there that used to hold some just for me. Some great house music and if I were lucky... some speed garage. In Tallahassee, Fl., where I cut my teeth, I had 3 residencies. My favorite, Club Park Avenue, Club Fire and Ice and the Underground Café. I also did spots at Club La Vela in Panama City, Fl. and Club 5 in Jacksonville, Fl. These days, I Dj for fun. I do it not to let my skills get to rusty. I'm extremely happy to be a member of the UpBeat family where I can get back in touch with my Music roots. Cheers all.
