What's On?: Week 29!
First of all welcome to What's On! Previously created by another Media Reporter but taken over. Each week we will go over some recommendations of TV and Films and show a review on them. If you do have any suggestions, do not fret to DM me! Now let's get on with this review!
This weeks theme is: Medical Shows
PLEASE NOTE: THIS ARTICLE MAY CONTAIN SPOILERS FROM THE FOLLOWING MEDIA.
- Chicago Med
- The Resident
- Station 19
A Medical Drama with doctors and nurses, who work at an emergency ward at the Gaffney Chicago Medical Centre. They strike to save the lives of their patients while issues with personal life and interpersonal issues can get in the way. They face challenges every day, and always make sure they can do what they can to help their patients in any way shape, or form. From what I have seen of this show it has a great and do recommend it. You can watch some seasons on Netflix, and all of the episodes on Apple TV.
Another Medical Drama, The Resident, is a group of young practicing doctors, starting their internship. They face the realities of modern-day medicine and the different issues that they need to learn. Although they learn the ropes with the help of the Senior Residents, this reminds me a lot of Grey's Anatomy (Which you should all watch). It has a good sense and how it is portrayed. I personally love this. It is a great show to chill and binge too. You can watch the Resident on Disney+.
Following on to our Medical theme for this week, Station 19 is about Andy Herrera, a confident firefighter and is also head of the firehouse. He is joined by Maya, Dean, Travis and Victoria. The new interns for the firehouse. This again is a spin-off of Grey's Anatomy. As a massive fanboy of Grey's, I do love this TV show too. It shows the other medical side of it all. You can watch Station 19 on Amazon Prime.
