Dua Lipa is a Songwriter and Singer from the United Kingdom. Before becoming a songwriter, she worked as a model. Dua Lipa has been extremely successful so far, and specializes in the Pop, Disco, House and R&B genres.

After working as a Model, Dua Lipa signed with Warner Bros Records in 2014, with her releasing her debut album in 2017. This album reached number 3 on the UK Albums chart, and had 8 singles in it, including "IDGAF", "Be The One" and the UK number One Single "New Rules". "New Rules" also peaked at number 6 on the US charts. This album has been cerfied as Platinum and she won the British Female Solo Artist and British Breakthrough Act at the 2018 Brit Awards because of the album.
She then released another Single in 2018, which was in collaboration with Calvin Harris. This song peaked at number one in the UK and became the longest song at the top for a female artist for the year of 2018.

Her second studio album was released in 2020, called "Future Nostalgia" ot was held to critical aclaim, earning 6 Grammy Nominations and became Dua Lipas first UK Number One Album. It was nominated for Album of the Year, Record of the Year, Song of the Year and 3 others. The album also helped Dua win the British Female Solo Artist and British Album of the Year at the 2021 Brit Awards.
She has won and been nominated for a variety of Grammy Awards as well, Winning Best New Artist in 2019, and the Grammy Award for Best Dance Recording for her collaboration song "Electricity".
