Tesla shows off new AI Robot!

The time of technology has been ever-evolving, and today makes no exception to that. Elon Musk, the brains behind the Tesla model cars, and SpaceX have unveiled a new wave of technology in the works at the "Tesla AI DAY" presentation. The humanoid robot that has been dubbed the Tesla Bot will run on the same AI used by the fleet of Tesla cars.

Musk had given few details about the new AI robot pointing out that it will stand at 5-foot-8-inches (176cm) and have an expected weight of about 125 pounds (56kg ) which is built out of lightweight material. Now here is the crazy part, the robot is designed intentionally that in the extreme case of the robot uprising you can both outrun and "overpower" the robot. He (Elon) has spoken out in the past about the use of robots as weapons and for malicious uses. stating "We should be worried about AI, What we're trying to do here at tesla is make useful AI that people love and is ... unequivocally good."

he goal of the new AI robot is to be able to perform dangerous, repetitive, and boring tasks like going to the store and picking up groceries from a list, Or being able to perform tasks that would naturally be dangerous to a human but not a robot. Elon goes on to say that "Essentially, in the future, physical work will be a choice. If you want to do it, you can, but you won't need to do it."

Honestly, it is very hard to say what the future might hold for us and what advances in technology will emerge or arise what Elon has shown is only a prototype idea that is currently brewing in the Tesla labs with no actual working AI Droid to display, though the human dressed as one dancing sure does reassure us. We still have a very long way to go before you get your bread and eggs brought to you by the bot. But Elon has said that they are working on a prototype that will likely be ready by next year.

What do you think of this new technology? let us know!
