Resident Evil 2 wins Game of the Year!
The remake of the classic survival horror by Capcom is enshrined as the favourite of the players in a ceremony of widely distributed prizes.
As the end of the year approaches the ceremony of The Game Awards, produced and presented by Geoff Keighley and that already has a date, but while other video game awards are coming that should also be taken into account. Some of them are the traditional Golden Joystick Swards, chosen by the public and whose edition of 2019 has been crowned no less than Resident Evil 2 as Best Game of the Year - also achieving the Best Sound -, highlighting how distributed these have been awards.
Only one game has won two prizes, Days Gone, for Best Narrative and Best Exclusive PlayStation 4 Game, consecrating the return of Bend Studio as successful and being able to consider this already a franchise with a great future ahead. Others that have been successful have been Epic Games, which have won the prize for Best Study and Best Esports Game, with the ubiquitous Fortnite. Capcom can also be satisfied since the Resident Evil 2 awards have to add the Best Visual Design for the excellent Devil May Cry V.
