BODY OF MISSING STUDENT FOUND
British Student, Amelia Bambridge who disappeared on the Cambodian Island of Koh Rong on the 23rd October 2019 has been found at sea 8 days after she initially went missing. It is believed that Amelia died due to Accidental Drowning and medical examiners have reported that "There was no third party involvement in her death."
After Amelia's body was discovered it was transported to Sihanoukville in Cambodia where it undergone a post-mortem exam, a local Information Official confirmed the results of this, concluding that she died from drowning and that her death was "not related with any other crime at all."
Amelia's body is expected to be returned to her family back into the UK as soon as possible, her belongings were found the morning after her disappearance at a party venue.
More than 100 volunteers joined the Cambodian Authorities in the search for Amelia, this included many locals and tourists, along with members of the Navy accompanied by divers.
