Amazon is Attempting to reduce co2 eMISSIONS

Amazon has been working hard to lower its carbon emissions for a while. This is just the next step for Amazon.

Amazon has set themself the optimistic target of lowering its carbon emissions to 0 by 2025.  As Amazon has sent 930 million packages in 2013, that value has been steadily increasing every year. Just imagine how much fuel Amazon uses to power its vehicles each year.

The Senior Vice President of operations at Amazon tweeted this:

The vans are expected to release in 2021. This is a short deadline to design and create 100,000 vans, Amazons vans can be a major player in the Electric Van market. Although it may be a niche market at the moment, those vans could take over the market. Becoming the best tool to reduce carbon emissions for shipping companies.
