Trainee pilot lands plane safely after instructor passes out
An Australian trainee pilot who goes by the name of Max Sylvester on his first lesson was forced to make an immediate landing, as well as unplanned emergency landing after his instructor, Robert Mollard began falling ill.
In communications over audio, he can be heard radioing air traffic control about this situation and said:
"He is leaning over my shoulder, I'm trying to keep him up but he keeps falling down."
The air traffic control operator asked him;
"Do you know how to operate the aeroplane?" as to which Max replied, "This is my first lesson."
Thankfully, the air traffic controller was able to guide Max through the flight towards the runway and where he would have to land.
Max landed perfectly on grounds where emergency services were waiting to provide medical attention to instructor Robert Mollard.
