Taylor Swift re-releases 'ME!'
Years after singer-songwriter Kanye West shocked the world by re-releasing his album "The Life of Pablo."
Singer-songwriter Taylor Swift did the same thing with her single "ME!" featuring Brendon Urie, lead singer of "Panic! At The Disco."
The song is set to appear on Taylor's newest album 'Lover.'
The song was pulled from iTunes and later reposted but with a minor change, to the verse containing "Hey kids! Spelling is fun!".
The artist has not yet responded on why such a lyric was changed but with an interview with Refinery29,
"With this song, we really just wanted to have this song not really be fully taking itself seriously.
So the lyrics — that’s a tone decision we made in the studio.
We were literally like, ‘OK, let’s say, ‘Hey, kids! Spelling is fun,” because we want everyone to know that this song is not really serious because it’s not, like, a serious love song.”
Sources are unsure if this changed version will end up on Taylor's newest album "Lover" but the lyric still remains on the Spotify version.
