scarlet moffatt and joe swash have announced they are stepping down as 'extra camp hosts'
Scarlett and Joe recently announced their departure from 'I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! Extra Camp', as they wished to focus on different projects. Joe Swash had been on the show for a whopping 10 years (since 2009) and Scarlett Moffatt has only been on the show since 2017, only one year after she won the show (2016).
Both ex-presenters for the ITV Extra Camp announced their departure through social media.
Scarlett Moffatt posted a photo on her Instagram, and captioned it;
“For three years I have enjoyed a jungle life, being crowned queen of the jungle and having the greatest time presenting extra camp with Swashy and Joel who I now class as best friends. The jungle absolutely changed my life and I am massively grateful to everybody who voted for me whilst in the jungle and for your constant support to date and everybody who tuned in to extra camp."
Joe Swash followed Scarlett's ways and uploaded a photo on his Instagram captioned with the following,
“I can’t believe I’m about to say this... For 10 incredible years, I’ve been lucky enough to host my favourite show on telly. Being a part of the I’m a Celebrity After Show has been everything I could have dreamed of and more. But I’ve decided that this year I’m going to have to leave my jungle family and stay home with my wonderful real family."
Both ex-presenters have gone down in history on the programme, and as expected, many viewers were shocked. However, the recent departure of both stars spiked a discussion, who would fill in their spots?
It has been announced that previous winners John Barrowman and Emily Atack will be presenting Extra Camp! Producers explained that they loved the pair together and are extremely happy with their selection.
Viewers are extremely excited and they're very sure that both Barrowman and Atack are as excited as each other to get stuck in!
