Jessie star, Cameron Boyce, has died unexpectedly at the age of 20
Cameron Boyce, who made his rise to stardom through the Disney Channel shows ‘Jessie’ and ‘Descendants’, has died at the early age of 20.
Cameron Boyce, 20, was revealed as dead through a family statement in the early hours of Sunday morning due to an ‘ongoing medical condition’ that he was being treated for.
The family has confirmed that he died due to a seizure.
In the statement, they described Cameron as one of the ‘brightest lights.'
Boyce started his acting career at the age of 9.
He later appeared in horror film ‘Mirrors’ and subsequently he also appeared in ‘Grown Ups’ where he played the son of Adam Sandler’s character.
The actor later went on to feature on the Disney Channel in roles such as Luke Ross from ‘Jessie’ and Carlos in ‘Descendants.'
The third segment of ‘Descendants’ is due to come out on the Disney Channel in August; however, Disney has not yet commented as to whether or not that will be the case.
Yesterday, he posted his last photo on Instagram which shows a ‘side-on’ view of Boyce’s face with a white headband around his hair.
The photo was also in Black and White.
There has been an outpour of love and support on Twitter for the late Cameron Boyce, with one person saying that Cameron made their ‘life better’ and others sighting that he was a huge part of their childhood.
