Sir David attenborough praises GLASTONBURY ATTENDEES FOR CUTTING PLASTIC USE
Sir David Attenborough, aged 93, appeared at this years' Glastonbury music festival.
His appearance came after the event stopped selling plastic water bottles this year and instead provided taps
that attendees could use to fill up their own reusable water bottles whilst at the event.
The event, which was held between the 26th and 30th of June, had not scheduled David's appearance.
However, thousands still gathered to listen to the speech the ninety-three-year-old delivered.
During his speech, he said;
''That is more than a million bottles of water that have not been drunk by you at Glastonbury. Thank you. Thank you.''
He also showed some clips from his new series Seven Worlds, One Planet, which is coming in the next few months.
These clips featured a new song by Australian singer, Sia.
Many are expecting this series to be the best Attenborough has done.
