Coco pops has released a new edition
If you ever had Coco Pops as a child, you may remember them being chocolate flavoured but recently Kellogg's have announced that they will be adding a new edition to the Kellogg's family, which will be white chocolate balls.
The new balls will be 30% less sugar than the original chocolate version as they are trying to cut down on sugar intake for the sake of the children.
Due to the amount of pleas they received by their customers on their phone line and social media, they have created the new edition.
The brand manager for Kellogg's Katy Bailey has said;
"In response to our fans and the growing desire for white chocolate varieties of popular food, we wanted to see if it was possible to create a white chocolate Coco Pops that tastes good as the original.
Our food developers have succeeded and for the first time in the cereals 59 years history a white chocolate version will be hitting the shops."
Coca the Monkey, who has been the mascot for the Coco Pops brand for many years is being introduced to a new friend called Nula the Narwhal who will be in the ads with Coca.
Sara Ashley, the food technician at Manchester cereal factory has commented;
"We had the idea to make white chocolate flavoured Coco Pops when working in our food development kitchen on a new reduced-sugar recipe for the original Coco Pops cereal."
