REAL ESTATE AGENT FIRED AFTER RACIST TWEETS MADE TOWARDS K-POP BAND BTS
(Former) Real Estate Agent Brian Hughes has gone viral in the context of fans of BTS taking action against the racist and dehumanising comments made by him. The fans even went as far as getting him fired from the company he worked at. The alleged comments made against BTS reads "They look like kids," and questioned whether Asian women were "even attracted to their own men."
Quickly after Real Estate Company 'Highline Residential' released a statement on Twitter that reads "We want to apologize to everyone for the inappropriate tweet sent by Brian Hughes. His comment does not at all reflect Highline's values. We are proud to represent a diverse workforce and clientele. Our relationship with Brian has been terminated."
It appears that Hughes Twitter account was later terminated and/or deleted. BTS Fans then thanked the Real Estate Company for their swift actions and support. K-POP band BTS has not yet commented about this incident on social media as of this time.
