Peppa Pig fans left in tears as horror trailer is played before Peppa Pig film at a cinema!

Peppa Pig fans were left in tears when two horror trailers were played before the animation film at a various cinema.

It was claimed that both superhero thriller BrightBurn and psychological movie Ma were advertised.

Both of the trailers showed dead bodies, men being hit by cars and even frightful masks and costumes.

The incident happened at a cinema called Empire Cinema in Ipswich.

Excited children turned up at the cinema all ready to watch the film but instead they were all left in tears.

One Mum treated her two-year-old daughter and 10-month-old son to see the movie and was left shocked at the viewing of these

explicit movie trailers.

The trailers left everyone in tears, even adults!

A spokesman from Empire has commented saying:

"We are investigating how an inappropriate trailer was played before a screening of Peppa Pig at our Ipswich Cinema for which we apologise."

"As soon as the staff on site were made aware of the situation, the programme was stopped and trailers were taken off-screen immediately."

The statement continued:

"We do sincerely apologise for this and for any distress caused and will be reviewing our internal procedures to ascertain how this came to being."
