D Generation X to be Inducted to WWE Hall Of Fame
On Monday's episode of WWE RAW, Paul Michael Levesque (Triple H) announced that his tag team, D Generation X with Heartbreak kid Shawn Michael, will be part of the Class of 2019 Hall of fame.
Shawn Michael is already in the WWE Hall of fame as he was inducted back in 2011.
This year Triple H will see himself be inducted as part of the tag team. This will also include the long awaited WWE legend Chyna.
In an Interview with ESPN, Triple H said “I think it’s the most meaningful for us all to go in together and to be recognised together. Because I think both groups were just as impactful. If you mention DX, depending on your age group and time, I think the unique thing about DX is for a lot of people they see DX and they go, ‘It’s Shawn, Hunter, and Chyna.’ To an even bigger group, during the prime Attitude Era when everything was the hottest, it was the group of the five of us. It was Dog, Billy, me, Kid and Chyna.”
A little background on D-Generation X
D-Generation X, better known as DX, was a stable faction within WWE from 1997 to 2011, consisting of Triple H, Shawn Michael, Chyna Road Dogg & Billy Gun.
Recently Triple H and Shawn Michael reunited for 2 matches against the Undertaker and Kane at both the Super Showdown and the Crown Jewel.
You will see the team reunite at Hall of fame on the 5th April, before Wrestlemania, at the annual WWE Hall Of Fame, which is broadcast on the WWE Network.
