Oh deer, why would he do this?
I came across a news article of a sentence which took part in Aug 31st, 2016 of this story which took part in a jury in Missouri caught my attention due to the impressive creativity used. A young man named David Berry Jr. has been sentenced in jail to view the Walt Disney movie 'Bambi' one time per month as he serves in jail due to the decapitation of deer illegally, killing hundreds. Prosecutor, Don Trotter claimed ''The deer were trophy bucks taken illegally, mostly at night, for their heads, leaving the bodies of the deer to waste.''
As we already may know, Bambi is one of Disney's most classical movies created in 1942 features a deer named Bambi who has to learn that there are dangers in the open forests where hunters can kill animals which is the reason why his mother died. Maybe that will give him a taste of his own medicine in jail. Berry however did not go alone, he was accompanied by his father, David Berry Sr and his uncle, Kyle Berry Sr as they were convicted from 'a long list of illegal fish and game activity by him and other members of his family.' The judge hopes after the sentence and watching Bambi repeatedly, he would think multiple times before thinking of killing another dear again.
While we are not exactly sure how many deer he took illegally, the County's conservation agent Andy Barnes claims it could be ''Several Hundred.'' As a result for this dreadful action, he pleaded guilty and received a sentence lasting a year-long. He will also never regain his hunting privileges as it has been revoked for life officially by the 'Missouri Conservation Commission.'
