Nintendo might be releasing two new Switch consoles this year
According to an insider, two new nintendo switch consoles will be releasing this summer, one cheaper and one more expensive.
However there has not been a formal statement from nintendo themselves, but the RUMOURS seem pretty LEGITIMATE.
The insider claims that there will be a more expensive upgrade model, which will have "enhanced features", and a cheaper version of the console for those on a budget.
We don't know what each model might be yet, but the cheaper model will supposedly have built-in vibration, meaning we could see fully attached Joy-Cons on the console, rather than detachable ones.
The more expensive model will likely have a significant performance boost on the current generation of Switch, though we have no idea what that might look like.
The rumour were sparked by someone on Twitter by the name of 'Takashi Mochizuku' (see below).

4 weeks agoI'm confused. The Switch is a amazing console. But why would Nintendo go down the route that basically removes a good chunk of profits selling the joycons. If they remove the detachable joycons in favour of portability how are they going to recover the profits from the market when that switch comes out. I understand the side where it an performance upgrade to what we have now. personally when i play rocket league i feel like the switch is underpowered as it kicks out heat during rocket league through the top vents.
